Comcast has specific security measures in place for those new & existing customers who are Safe at Home participants. The following are instructions on how to implement those measures for your safety.
- Call the Customer Security Assurance Group at (844) 963 - 0073 and leave a voicemail with your name and callback number.
- The Customer Security Assurance Group will call you back at the number you provided to gather the following information:
- SAH ID & mailing Address
- Customer Security Assurance Group will contact SAH and verify your participation with the program.
- Service address
- Shell created around service address to protect service address
- Service address will only be used for purpose of delivering service, otherwise SAH address will be address on account. *Exception for use of alias, see below.
- Service address is not shared outside of Comcast.
- Desired alias (optional)
- If you decide to use an alias on your Comcast account, you cannot use your SAH mailing address as the program cannot forward mail under any name other than the name listed on the participants application. *SAH Program is unable to add an alias or aka at participants request. SAH is a government agency, and uses legal names to provide services.
- An alias is not compatible affordable connectivity program.

- Authorized contact (optional)
- SAH ID & mailing Address
- Once your SAH enrollment information is verified, your account / shell is built and then handed to sales.
- Sales call customer to establish service.
- If you have Xfinity Mobile and want to include your Xfinity Mobile account under the shell account (mobile will contact customer to verify including service under shell) .
Privacy codes are applied to the account.
Typical turnaround time within a few days assuming there are no issues or delays.
